We work with adults with a new onset neurological disorder or disability, as well as those who have experienced a recent change in their condition.  Conditions we work with include, but are not limited to, stroke, acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, motor neuron disease and Parkinson's disease.  

We are now also able to offer a paediatric occupational therapy service, also targeting neurological disability, and including access to Horse Therapy for select cases.

We recognise that the easiest way for clients to build skills for life is to practise in their own environment. We therefore offer a short to medium term home based rehabilitation service inclusive of the following areas:

• Upper and lower limb therapy

• Hydrotherapy

• Cognitive rehabilitation

• Activities of daily living retraining

• Community re-intergration

• Comprehensive falls assessment

• Environmental modification

• Assistive technology prescription

• Pressure care assessment and injury management

• Spasticity management

• Neurological pain management

• Horse therapy (paediatrics only)

We also offer clinic based appointments where needed.

• Transport Accident Commission (TAC)

• Medicare rebate (via a GP Chronic Disease Management Plan)

• Home Care Package (see individual provider)

• Department of Veterans' Affairs (with referral from a GP, medical specialist or hospital)

• Post Acute Care program (arranged by discharging hospital)

• Transitional Care Package (TCP) (arranged by discharging hospital)

• Self funded ( $130 per hour)

Our clinic is located at 2 Green Street Wangaratta.  We also provide home based therapy and as we are based near the Victoria/New South Wales border we can service most of Northeast Victoria and the Border and Greater Hume regions.  Please contact us if you are unsure whether this includes you.
